In September 2023, Governor Gavin Newsom signed Senate Bill No. 553 into law, which requires covered California employers to take steps to prevent and respond to workplace violence. Compliance with the new law is expected by July 1, 2024. In this webinar, labor and employment attorney, Jenica D. Maldonado, will provide an overview of SB553 connecting the dots for what this means for your agency/workplace in addition to guidance and resources to ensure you are in compliance by the July deadline.

Cancellations & Transfers
No cancellation refunds will be permitted.
Transfers to another individual within your agency/company may be requested via email to Lauren Oakley (Lauren@cprs.org) by Thursday, May 2, 2024 at no cost. $5 will be due if the transferee is not a member and the original registrant is. No transfers will be permitted following the 05/02 deadline.
