Thank you for joining us in Sacramento, CA for our 74th Annual CPRS Conference & Expo! The Conference committee members are working to bring you the latest information and services for the park, recreation and leisure services profession. The 2022 Conference will provide something for everyone in Parks & Recreation.
Registration Information
Registration for conference is now being accepted. The Conference is being held March 8th - 11th at the Sacramento Safe Credit Union Convention Center. Full Registration covers all regular conference educational sessions beginning Wednesday morning and ending with our closing keynote speaker midday on Friday. Full registration pricing also covers entrance into the exhibit hall with lunches on Wednesday and Thursday and the Wednesday night welcome reception.
Recreation Therapy Intensive-
Registration is open for the Recreation Therapy Intensive which will be happening virtually in early 2022. Please see our event page for more information and to register.
Badge and Tickets
Your badge and tickets will be mailed to your preferred address in mid-February. If you have not received them by the end of February, please call the CPRS office to have them reprinted. Any badges that are not reported missing or not returned to us by the postal service and need to be reprinted onsite will incur a $20 badge replacement fee onsite. Tickets are required for meals and/or special events and cannot be replaced if lost.
If you are new to our system and do not have a login and password, you will need to add yourself and enter your address & email. Do not leave your addresses blank or we will not be able to send your information to you. If someone is registering a group, please be sure to include individual addresses and emails for the people you add so they will get their information.

Day Rate
Daily rates will be available after October 20, 2021. Daily rates includes daily educational sessions. Wednesday Daily Fee will also include entrance into the Exhibit Hall, Lunch in the Hall and the Welcome Reception. Thursday Daily Fee will also include entrance into the Exhibit Hall and Lunch in the Hall. Intensives, Tours & Special Events may require an additional fee. Friday is a half day - ending midday with our closing keynote speaker.
Cancellations & Transfers
TRANSFERS: Registration may be transferred to another representative from your agency at no charge until January 19, 2022. Fee difference will be assessed if necessary due to membership status. A $50 administrative fee for a transfer will be charged when a request is received after January 19, 2022.
REFUND REQUESTS: Refund requests received in the CPRS office no later than January 19, 2022 will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Refund requests received between January 19 and February 25, 2022 will be assessed 50% of the registration fee paid and your conference badge and tickets must be returned with your written refund request. No refunds will be granted after February 25, 2022.

ADA & Special Request Information
For ADA requests and questions concerning accessibility, contact CPRS at 916-665-2777. Accommodations such as interpreters cannot be guaranteed without at least 30 days notice. To help ensure availability, requests must be received by January 31, 2022.
Food Allergies & Preferences:
While we do our best to be aware of food allergies and preferences, it is not always possible for us to accommodate food allergies and preferences at our receptions and lunches in the exhibit hall due to the large number of people being served. If you have specific needs, you may need to provide your own meals during those times. If you have any questions about provided meals, please contact our office.
Membership Status
The member rate will automatically be applied if you are a member of CPRS. If you need assistance with your membership status or login and password, before registering, please call CPRS HQ at 916-665-2777. Students will need to be CPRS Student Members to receive the student rates. If you are renewing your membership online, please allow 24 hours for our system to update and reflect current member pricing.

Covid Information
Proof of Vaccine or current Negative COVID test is required from all attendees - read below:
CPRS is dedicated to keeping the health and safety of our community a priority. As we plan for a great in-person experience, we are taking the health and safety of everyone attending very seriously. To that end, please review the following safety protocols that will be followed during conference:
- As required by the California Department of Public Health Mega-Event order, we will be asking for proof of vaccination OR a current negative COVID test result from ALL attendees, when entering the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. This information will not be collected, nor stored in any way, but will be a requirement for admittance into the Convention Center. See the Health order for specific testing requirements and timing.
- As required by the County of Sacramento Health Department, we will be requiring proper face coverings for ALL attendees, regardless of vaccination status.
- We will not have a virtual or hybrid option available in 2022.
