Join aging professionals from across California for a day of learning, networking, and inspiration at the 2026 CPRS Aging Section Senior Symposium. This year's program features engaging keynote presentations, practical educational sessions, interactive networking opportunities, and hands-on activities designed to strengthen connections and spark new ideas.
Hear from recreation professionals on topics including building award-winning senior centers, creating meaningful communication, and fostering stronger relationships within your organization and community. Attendees will also enjoy Speed Networking Bingo, lunch, lawn bowling lessons, and an Aging Section Social following the symposium.
Whether you're looking for innovative programming ideas, professional development, or opportunities to connect with peers, the Senior Symposium offers valuable takeaways for everyone working to grow in the field and enhance the lives of older adults.

Registration Information
Please visit the Senior Symposium event page for the detailed schedule overview. In brief, the 2026 Senior Symposium will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Purchase of registration includes admission, a light breakfast, lunch and access to the closing social event.
The deadline to register is Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Non-Members ... $70
Lodging & Travel
Lodging is not included in the purchase of registration and should be secured independently if needed. Two local hotels you may want to consider include Hotel Hermosa (2515 PCH, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254) and Redondo Beach Hotel (400 N Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach, CA 90277). Group rates have not been established at these hotels.
The venue of the 2026 Senior Symposium is the Hermosa Beach Clark Building (861 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254). Free public parking is available outside the facility with additional overflow parking located at both 1315 Valley Drive & 710 Pier Avenue.
Cancellations & Transfers
Registration may be transferred to another representative from your agency for $10 through Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Fee difference will be assessed if necessary due to membership status of the original registrant and the intended transferee.
Transfer requests received by Thursday, September 24, 2026 will be subject to a $15 transfer fee.
Transfers will not be permitted following the September 30th registration deadline.
Cancellation/Refund requests received in the CPRS HQ office by Wednesday, September 23, 2026, will incur a $20 cancellation fee.
Requests received September 24 - September 30, 2026, will incur a $30 cancellation fee.
No refunds will be granted following the September 30th registration deadline.
