Please join us for the National Academic Leaders Retreat (NAL-R) for those in Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions. This event will be held April 2-4, 2023 in San Diego, CA in collaboration with the CPRS CONNECTIONS Conference & Expo.

This year’s event will be two days of learning, networking, professional growth, with a little self-care and a lot of fun! This two-day conference will offer two tracks, one for the up-and-coming professionals in education (Administrative Core), and one for the seasoned professionals (Specialty) who are ready for that next step.
Administrative Core Sessions open to Academic Leaders: Deans, Associate Deans, Department Chairs, Department Directors, Program Directors, Program Coordinators, Emeriti Faculty, and others interested in Academic Leadership.
Specialty Topic Sessions open to all Educators, Practitioners, Researchers, Vendors, and Students.
Prices
Registration is $175.00
CEU’s can be added for an additional $20 for CPRS members/$40 for non-members.
Cancellations and Transfers
Registration may be transferred to another representative from your agency at no charge until January 26, 2023. Fee difference will be assessed if necessary due to membership status. A $50 administrative fee for a transfer will be charged when a request is received after January 26, 2023.
Refund requests received in the CPRS office no later than January 26, 2023 will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Refund requests received between January 26 and March 24, 2023 will be assessed 50% of the registration fee paid and your conference badge and tickets must be returned with your written refund request. No refunds will be granted after March 24, 2023.
ADA & Special Request Information
For ADA requests and questions concerning accessibility, contact CPRS at 916-665-2777. Accommodations such as interpreters cannot be guaranteed without at least 30 days notice. To help ensure availability, requests must be received by February 28, 2023.

While we do our best to be aware of food allergies and preferences, we need at least 30 days notice to ensure we are able to have options available.

The member rate for CEUs will automatically be applied if you are a member of CPRS.
