JEDI Virtual Roundtable March 2024
JEDI Counsel Virtual Roundtable
Thursday, March 21, 2024 @ 12:00 - 1:00 pm (PDT)
via Zoom | Free to Attend
Interested in learning more about incorporating justice, equity, diversity, or inclusion into your work and/or workplace? Join members of the CPRS JEDI Counsel for an engaging discussion with fellow park & recreation professionals across the state. We hope you will come to the roundtable ready to share your perspectives and experiences and hear about problems, practices, and solutions from various communities. During the March 21st roundtable, we look forward to focusing our attention on equity in public spaces. JEDI Counsel members will discuss what this looks like, successful approaches in ensuring equity, and the challenges in achieving this.
These virtual roundtable events offer a 'brave space' for open dialogue and learning about what can be challenging topics. The roundtables will not be recorded so participants may feel more welcome to have authentic and productive discussions. The information exchanged and ideas offered are not legal advice nor the opinion of CPRS, rather, the ideas and opinions of the individuals sharing them.
Registrants will receive the zoom meeting access information via the email address provided on Thursday, 03/21/2024, by 11 am (PDT). This email will come from Lauren Oakley at Lauren@cprs.org.
This roundtable is free for all to attend -- CPRS membership is not required. We welcome you to invite other members of your organization and team to join us for some thoughtful discussion around JEDI.
