On behalf of the California Foundation for Parks & Recreation (CFPR), I would like to invite you to participate in the 2025 CFPR ‘Foundation Cup’ Golf Tournament at the beautiful Wildhawk Golf Club in Sacamento. This year’s tournament will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 and registration is limited.
CFPR is a nonprofit 501c3 public benefit corporation that fosters excellence and innovation in community recreation services and programs. It was created to educate the public and the profession about the beneficial effects of recreation. We fund research relating to the advancement of parks and recreation; to support and encourage education in parks, recreation, and related fields; and to support special projects relating to parks, recreation, and related community services with the intent of promoting healthy communities.
On behalf of the CFPR Board of Trustees, we greatly appreciate your interest in participating in the Foundation Cup Golf Tournament that will raise funds for the foundation to provide services, programs, scholarships and continued support to our communities in California.

General Information
Golf Details
This tournament is a four-person team scramble format with a two-tee shot requirement per team member. Each member hits a tee shot. Team selects the best shot and each member hits from that spot. All subsequent shots are hit in the same manner until the ball is holed. The two tee shots must be indicated on the scorecard by the appropriate team member’s name. Men play from the white tees and women may play from the green tees. All teams will compete in an Open division format with teams comprised of 4 golfers (men or women) as you compete for the FOUNDATION CUP. All ties will be broken using a random drawing of a tiebreaker hole.
Registration for the tournament is now being accepted. It is preferred that you register a complete team of four golfers and identify a team name. Twosomes will be assigned teams as the full field of players are confirmed. Registration must be completed prior to February 17, 2025 as space is limited to 100 players and this is expected to sell out.
