As humans, we’re a complex combination of intelligence and emotions. In this session, you’ll learn the difference between EQ and IQ, and the benefits of utilizing emotional intelligence as you navigate relationships. Where IQ might provide you the basis for mastering knowledge, EQ helps you unlock your full potential and the potential of those around you. Join us as we learn the components and how to cultivate our own emotional intelligence to grow as a leader. This webinar is presented by Kyla Brown, CPRE, General Manager/Parks Director of RivCoParks.
Learning Objectives
- Define Emotional Intelligence (also known as E.I. or E.Q.)
- Gain an understanding of the difference between emotional intelligence and the intelligence quota (or IQ)
- Learn the history of emotional intelligence and some of the theories surrounding EQ
- Explore the domains of emotional intelligence
- Develop and action plan to improve your EQ, improve relationships, and grow as a leader.

This webinar is eligible for 0.1 CEU and will take place via Zoom. All attendees registered for CEU credits must be present on the full webinar to gain their letter of CEU completion.
